A Few Days before Archery Opening at Long Ridge.

The two youngsters, bear above and buck below are on the East Ridge Plot. Quite sparse at that point due to lack of rain.
A bigger guy showing up below.

Still spots on this fawn, but they'll fade quickly now.

I love my birds in flight...and when the grab a mouse and go!

Not big, but tall for the age, you think?

Plots finally beginning to take hold!

And my favorites, the porks.

This guy looks a bit thin, but apples and acorns falling aplenty now so this bear should fatten up OK.
This big fat woodchuck is admiring and guarding my campfire wood gathered this summer.

A most curious doe. May have heard the camera or seen a blink...

A pink turkey! Yikes!

Friendly pups?

A fairly decent buck here on the East Plot.

I count eight.

Tall and thin!
Apple loving doe.
Another beauty on the Far field.

An apple loving young guy.

Well hope you enjoyed these shots of local life...time to get out there with the bow. Good luck to hunters and photographers!
