Early Spring and Summer Pics From Long Ridge...

This was a good winter and spring...The two deer above are within twenty yards of me as I drop maple trees for them to forage...The Angel below, is on our front deck, and looking out for the farm.
The doe above, and her spring bud, are coming up the driveway from deer camp to the house. I am in the sheep barn watching...and below, we DO get out occasionally...anyone dare venture where this is?
Beauty is everywhere in early spring...
Pregnant and in need of minerals, we take our fill..
All are included in the fest...
Even bears.
Back three weeks and we are at the census station. Beauty at it's best.

In between snow storms in April, we feed heavily on last fall's acorn crop.

Birds count too!
As do squirrels..

Back to early spring whiteness...

And bad dogs...
Imagine the gall of a turkey to feed into a deer's space.,..
Bunches below, snow cover, and none...

And last, but not least the racoons, count too!
OK, into summer we are, so stand by...also to come is another firearms review...this one a surprise to you all I am sure, but it WILL be interesting. Have fun, enjoy your summer, and think about getting out those bows to tune or practice with. It's time.

Open to comments, love, and criticism.
